Suspect arrested in purse snatching case

RED OAK – The Red Oak Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division has identified the suspect from the Jan. 27 purse snatching at the Whataburger in the 100 block of Harris Road.

WAXAHACHIE – The dead body found in Waxahachie last Thursday afternoon at 77 and 342 has been identified as Dallas resident Miner Carell. Carell was a 75-year-old black male described as 5'6", weighing 120 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, and was known to have had health issues and dementia.
