County residents not required to wear masks

WAXAHACHIE – Since Texas Governor Greg Abbott has not imposed a mask order for businesses throughout the state in the last week, Ellis County has not imposed an order on businesses either. It could be because the numbers being reported by the state have changed regarding the data being reported.

COVID-19 testing brings in a crowd

WILMER – The City of Wilmer held a free COVID-19 site this week to big success. Organized by the city, at least 200 residents and area locals showed up Monday during a six-hour window at the Wilmer Community Center to be tested for the pandemic.
