RED OAK – Red Oak ISD Superintendent Brenda Sanford swore in new ROISD Police Chief Phillip Prasifka on Aug, 17.  Prasifka, formerly with the City of Glenn Heights for 18 years, was joined by his wife, three children who are ROHS graduates, and his parents.

Isle of Wright County, Virginia Animal Shelter volunteers came together and purchased a Buddy Bag and Cool Vest for K9 Fuse who along with her handler, Officer Charles Banks III, are members of the Ferris Police Department. The Buddy Bag contains equipment used to provide life-sustaining treatment to an injured K9 while en route to a veterinarian.

RED OAK – The Red Oak ISD is bringing back a police chief to the area people might already recognize by name.   Chief Phillip Prasifka was hired to lead the school’s law enforcement department for the upcoming school year.
