Waxahachie PD seek answers in death of Tanner Vaughn

WAXAHACHIE – The Waxahachie Police Department is looking for clues in last week’s shooting death of 29-year-old Red Oak resident Tanner Vaughn. Vaughn was shot on June 22 at around 10:41 p.m. in the 200 block of Monticello Drive.

OPINION: County judge speaks out about Constitutional carry

WAXAHACHIE – Texas HB 1927 – the new constitutional carry bill – was just signed by Governor Abbott on June 16th. As its nickname suggests, this law recognizes the constitutional right to bear arms by removing the requirement that Texans obtain a license before they are allowed to carry a handgun.
