Active registered voters to receive new cards

The redistricting process from the 2020 Census data has been completed.Ellis County active registered voters will be receiving their new 2022 voter registration cards in the mail within the next few days. The certificates will be valid from Jan. 1, 2022 thru Dec. 31,2023.

Ennis school bus accident under investigation

ENNIS – On Thursday, Jan. 27, an Ennis ISD school bus was involved in an accident near the intersection of Interstate 45 and N. Kaufman St.On the bus at the time of the accident was the bus driver, an adult monitor, and 32 EISD students.
