WILMER: VIRTUAL READING PROGRAM REMINDS CHILDREN IMPORTANCE OF READING

WILMER – As the pandemic in some cases wreaked havoc on structured ways for children to get their hands on and read a book, the City of Wilmer’s E.M. Gilliam Memorial Public Library found a creative way for the summer months to help children get their hands on a virtual book instead.

SAN ANTONIO – The 2021 Texas Wing Encampment just concluded with 117 graduating cadets from Camp Bullis, Joint Base in San Antonio. As the last cadet marched across the improvised parade grounds, a sense of camaraderie could be felt amongst the cadets and placed this event in the history books.
