RED OAK – Red Oak ISD announced the district earned a Superior Achievement grade of ‘A’ on the 2021 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas report. The rating is based on the financial data from the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

Bicycle accident claims life of Glenn Heights man

RED OAK – Glenn Heights resident Dewey Wheatley, 65 was pronounced dead last week after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a 2012 Chevrolet pickup after exiting a private driveway in the 500 block of Interstate-35 S.

The Red Oak High School Robotics class held their annual Build-a-Bot event at the Red Oak High School.The Robotics Club held two sessions, morning and afternoon, for children in the area, where they were able to build a robot from a kit with the help of the talented Robotic Club Students.
