WILMER – From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 23, the Wilmer City Hall Square will be home to the city’s Earth Day Celebration with a reminder to keep our planet clean by doing your share.The celebration, appropriately called W-O-W, stands for Wipe Out Waste.

ELLIS COUNTY – There is never a loss of something new to discover in Ellis County.A few weeks ago as I was driving in the area in the early morning on assignment, I found myself in Milford.

ELLIS COUNTY – According to a report by The Fang Law Firm, Ellis County has one of the most dangerous intersections in the United States.The location of the intersection is SR-360 and US-287.This calculates inside of the city of Mansfield’s Ellis County lines.

ELLIS COUNTY – The primary election several weeks ago left some areas in Texas experiencing stories about uncounted ballots, for example in Harris County.One local resident raised a red flag about voting tabulations in Ellis County too – at Grace Church Ovilla.

OVILLA – The city of Ovilla will have two clean-up days next month in April.Saturday, April 23 will be the clean-up day for brush and trash from 8 a.m. to noon in downtown Ovilla.Saturday, April 30 will be the day residents can deliver their household hazardous waste materials, again from 8 a.m.
