You are hereby commanded to appear by filing a written answer to the Plaintiffs Notice of Hearing at or before ten o’clock A.M. of the first Monday after the expiration of forty-two days from the date of the issuance of this citation, before the Honorable COUNTY COURT AT LAW NO. 1, ELLIS COUNTY, TEXAS, at 109 S. JACKSON STREET, 3RD FLOOR, in WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS.
Said Plaintiffs Notice of Hearing was filed in said court, on the 31st day of March 2023 in this cause, numbered 22-C-3835 on the docket of said court, and styled:

A brief statement of the nature of this suit is as follows, to wit:
Plaintiff’s The State of Texas filed an eminent domain proceeding in which the State of Texas is condemning a tract of land located in Ellis County, Texas, containing 3,652 square foot (0.0838 acre) tract of land located in the Harmon P. Crum Survey, Abstract Number 208, Ellis County, Texas, and being part of the remainder of a called 1.6838 acre tract of land described as “Tract I” in Warranty Deed with Vendor’s Lien to Bennett Arthur and wife, Joan Arthur recorded in Volume 929, Page 664, of the Deed Records of Ellis County, Texas (DRECT) and being part of Lot 2 of Arthur Addition, an addition to Ellis County, Texas recorded in Cabinet C, Slide 573 of the Plat Records of Ellis County, Texas (PRECT), such property being fully described in Exhibit “A” of Plaintiff’s Petition for Condemnation filed under the above-referenced cause number.
If this citation is not served within ninety days after the date of its issuance, it shall be returned unserved.
The officer executing this process shall promptly execute the same according to law and make due return as the law directs.
