GATESVILLE – Langston Anderson showed his big play ability and led Midlothian Heritage. The 6-1, 195-pound senior wide receiver scored twice to make the difference in a defensive tussle for both teams.

Heritage came into the game with a respected offense led by the trio of quarterback Landon Ledbetter, Anderson and Jay Wilkerson. Gatesville held up well in the first half and trailed 7-0 on Anderson’s 59-yard strike from Ledbetter to cap a nine-play, 85-yard drive. Anderson put the game away early in the fourth quarter when he raced down the left sideline for a 53-yard score for a one-play possession. Anderson finished with seven catches for 96 yards.
