Freshman Lady Hawks add wins

The Lady Hawks couldn’t get it in gear until the third set as they faced off against the Terrell Lady Tigers at home on Tuesday, Aug. 31.

The first set was a back and forth battle as both teams struggled with hitting and passing.

Terrell came out on top of the first set winning 23-25.

The second set was very similar to the first.

Both teams continued to struggle to find any momentum, however the Lady Hawks came on at the end to win 26-24.

Finally, in the third set, the Lady Hawks got in the groove and got control of their hitting and passing errors.

As a result the Lady Hawks won the third set 25-18.

On Friday, the Lady Hawks picked up another win as they traveled to Lancaster.

Starting slowly the Lady Hawks allowed Lancaster to keep the set close, however, they continued to battle and won 25-18. It was all Lady Hawks in the second set as they cruised to an easy win 25-11.
