Lady Panthers Advance in playoffs

RED OAK - The tie breaker game in this series was held in Red Oak on Tuesday, May 4.
In game three, the Lady Panthers wasted no time getting their bats hot as their leadoff hitter crushed a line drive to left center field and would eventually score putting the Lady Panthers up 1-0 in the first inning.
The Lady Hawks defense once again was excellent when they could field the ball, but it was the placement of the Lady Panthers hits that allowed them to keep runners moving around the bases and by the top of the third and gone up 4-0.
The Lady Hawks were able to get a run across in the bottom of the third on an illegal pitch.
After scoreless fourth and fifth innings, the Lady Panthers were able to score two more runs bringing the score to 6-1.
The Lady Hawks held the Lady Panthers scoreless in the top of the seventh and once again made things interesting with a leadoff single and two bunts later and a hit batter, the Lady Hawks were making a run, but the Lady Panthers defense was up to the task.
They eventually got their third out as they took game three, 6-2 to advance to the next round of playoffs versus Lindale.
