Red Oak Hawks soccer update

The regular season came to an end March 13 and play-offs will begin soon for both the Hawks and Lady Hawks soccer teams.

At press time brackets had not been determined so check the ROISD web site for up to date information (http://www.redoak isd.org).

On March 10 the JV boys finished up against Corsicana, in a very physical game at home.

The Hawks were protecting a 2-0 lead late in the game, when Corsicana was finally able to score.

With just over a minute left, Corsicana pushed hard to try and tie the game and that’s when ejections started to take place on both sides, but it would be the Hawks that would come out victorious with a 2-1 win.
