The Lady Hawks varsity softball team pitched another shut out game against the Lancaster Lady Tigers last Tuesday.

With threatening skies, the varsity team played first in case the rain came early.

It would turn out to be a short played game anyway and not due to rain, but runs.

The Lady Tiger’s pitcher had a hard time finding the strike zone and walked many of the Lady Hawk batters, where they quickly took advantage of wild pitches and advanced on the bases at will.

Occasionally when a strike was thrown, the Lady Hawk batters took advantage of that too.

By the third inning the game was called by run rule and the Lady Hawks went on to win 16-0.

The JV girls were also able to play their game before the rain set in.

This game was almost a repeat of the varsity game.

The JV girls, when they weren’t walked, hit the ball well too.

Their defense was also good allowing no runs as they went on to win 9-0 in three innings.
