MIDLOTHIAN - Midlothian faced the Arlington Wild in hockey last Thursday at Duncanville.

Midlothian’s first of two goals in the first period came from a Chris Green assist to Brent Jones.

The second score resulted from a Brent Jones assist to Micah Koutros giving the Panthers a 2-1 lead after the first period.

The Panthers scored two goals in the second before Arlington was able to score again with 3:25 left in the second period.

This would be Arlington’s last score of the game as their offense struggled in the third period leading to an overworked Arlington defense.

Midlothian jumped at the chance to run up the score.

With 9:56 left in the third, Hardy Walker and Joey Aprile assisted Brent Jones in his third goal of the night.

The last two goals of the game for Midlothian were both scored by Micah Koutros.

The first came at 8:30 left with assists from Tyler Hervey and Matt Bassett.

The final goal of the game was the result of assists from Hardy Walker and Joey Aprile for Koutros’ fourth goal of the game and an 8-2 victory for Midlothian.
