Powerlifting teams win big at Van High School competition

FERRIS - The Ferris High School powerlifting teams traveled to Van for a powerlifting competition Saturday. The following members were honored: Armando Castillo, Senior Outstanding Lifter, First Place 1,045 lbs.; Crystal Ortiz, Junior Outstanding Lifter, First Place 105 lbs.; Maggie Sands, First Place 625 lbs.; Chris Anderson, First Place 1, 065 lbs.; Tyler Griffith, Third Place 1,365 lbs.
