FERRIS - Ferris traveled to Crandall to face the Lady Pirates Friday looking for a win after a devastating loss to Kaufman earlier in the week.

Crandall was not going to let that happen.

Crandall held Ferris to five points in the first period while scoring 25.

A lack of communication between players kept Ferris struggling in the second period only scoring six and allowing Crandall 16 making the half-time score 41-11.

Crandall dominated the second half of play scoring another 16 in the third and 22 in the fourth period while Ferris could only manage five and four, respectively.

While the Lady Yellow Jackets played with a lot of heart and desire, they lacked in shooting and passing ability.

The Lady Yellow Jackets were led in scoring by La Teisha Berry who scored 19 of 20 points.

Crandall took the victory 79-20 bringing the Lady Yellow Jackets to 2-12 so far on the season and 0-3 in district play.
