Red Oak Lady Hawks vs. Terrell

began their season last friday with a double header scrimmage against both Terrell and Garland. The first 40 minute game matched the Lady Hawks against district rivals Terrell. The game started off with the two teams very evenly matched. That all changed with 24 minutes to go in the match when Red Oak opened the scoring. After that the Lady Hawks took control and added a second goal ten minutes later. The match ended with a score of Red Oak-2 Terrell-0. The second match versus Garland, however, did not turn out as the Lady Hawks had hoped. Red Oak created several chances to score but a swift counter attack from Garland Lady Owls gave them a 1-0 advantage. They would remain on the attack and later add a second for a 2-0 victory over Red Oak.
