The Wild About Cheer cheerleading squads, based here in Red Oak, competed in the American Cheer Power competition in Fort Worth on Nov. 14 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The younger girls completed around 8:30 a.m. while the Senior girls finished up around 6 p.m. making it a long day for coaches an parents.

The teams did really well bringing home first, second and third place trophies with the Senior Level 1 girls winning high point honors again.

Coach Jacki Jeffers-Bradley stated "this is a very special award as their score is measured against the 20 other teams in that division to win high point."

Two of the girls also participated in individual events coming in first place!

Coach Jacki also stated "the girls have been working very hard and are improving at each competition."

The gyms’ next competition is scheduled for Dec. 15 at the Garland Special Events Center.
