FORT WORTH - When the Air Force Falcons traveled to Fort Worth to take on the No. 16 TCU Horned Frogs this past Saturday they brought with them a product of Waxahachie High School, Air Force offensive tackle Chris Campbell.

Under the direction of Waxahachie Head Coach David Reams, Campbell lettered two years in football as well as three years in track.

Chris was named first-team all-district offensive tackle both his junior and senior years plus first-team all-district defensive tackle his senior year as well.

The junior management major is grateful to Coach Reams for all of his guidance and instruction during high school.

After playing on the Air Force’s junior varsity team as a freshman, Chris started two games last season and appeared in nine games total at right tackle. Last year, the Falcon offensive line ranked second in the nation and tops in the Mountain West Conference in rushing yards per game with 299.5.

Unfortunately, the Falcons could not hold ground against the Horned Frogs who ended the season at 10-2 with a victory over the Falcons, 44-10.
