Waxahachies playoff run ends

WAXAHACHIE - Waxahachie and Sulphur Springs kept fans on the edge of their seats for a good portion of the game Friday at Wildcat-Ram Stadium.

The teams were tied up at 21 all at the beginning of the third quarter.

As Sulphur Springs put up another touchdown in the third to make it 28-21, the Indians seemed to lose all focus and sense of unity.

After another Sulphur Springs touchdown in the fourth quarter, Waxahachie tried one last attempt at a touchdown but fell short and watched as Sulphur Springs advanced to the semifinals with a 35-21 win.
