Last Friday night Yellow Jacket Stadium played host to Class 1A schools Itasca and Normangee as they battled to determine who would advance to the next round of the high school football play-offs.

After having a substantial lead over Itasca for most of the game, Normangee dropped their guard long enough for Itasca to score two touchdowns late in the game.

Normangee was able to hold on to the lead and the win with a final score of 22-14.

This is the first time Ferris has hosted a high school football playoff game.
