The Ferris seventh grade B team recently captured a district championship in football.

They won all of their games this season, tying twice.

The last time a seventh grade football team won a district title was back in the mid 1990s, when the then seventh grade A team had a perfect season without any ties.

That same team, in 2000, tied for district against Alvarado and went as far as the semi-regionals where they were defeated by Muleshoe.

Could there be a repeat in the future?
