Homecoming games bittersweet for Ferris 8th grade teams

Both the players and the fans were eager for action Thursday night when the Yellow Jackets took on the Bearcats of Pilot Point. Unfortunately for Ferris the Bearcats were just too much on the field.
Neither Yellow Jackets team could get anything going either offensively or defensively.
The 8th grade B team depended upon one player to win the game and Pilot Point was able to stop him every time he had the ball which was basically every play.
Ferris could not accomplish anything rushing or passing.
Two disappointing losses for Ferris Junior High should send coaches back to the drawing board.
Perhaps Ferris Junior High should send in their second string players who might have a better chance at putting points on the board.
