Youth football teams advance to State Championships

The 8U Ellis County All-Stars were crowned the North Texas Regional Champions last Saturday at Bishop Lynch HS. The Ellis County 8U All-Stars moved on to represent the North Texas Association of Youth Football against Crossroads North representing the South Texas Region in the first 8U All-Star State Championship on Saturday, December 17 at Floyd Casey Stadium, Waco, home of the Baylor Bears. The All-Star team is made up of players from the Red Oak Chargers, YMCA Blackhawks, Waxahachie Chiefs and Waxahachie Indians.
