Lady Hawks fall to Lady Pirates

www.movingpictures.photoreflect.com: Red Oak Junior High Lady Hawk’s #24 goes up for an easy layup against Waxahachie in the girls 8th grade A team game. They won 42-9.

RED OAK - The Lady Hawks hosted the Mesquite Poteet Lady Pirates on Tuesday, Nov. 29 in a district 15-4A match up. 

This game was all Lady Pirates. 

Although the Lady Hawks had a lot of shot opportunities in the first half; they struggled to get them to fall. 

The Lady Hawks did play much better in the second half and put together a nice run late in the third half to get within 10 and forcing a time out by Poteet. 

However, Poteet answered the Lady Hawks run with one of their own and by mid-way through the fourth; they had the game in the bag and won 50-32. 

The JV Lady Hawks didn’t fare any better losing 40-26.
