District 154A football playoff updates

Waxahachie traveled to Waco last Thursday to face Pflugerville Connally in their first round playoff game. 

The Indians took care of business 49-28 and will play Sherman in round two. The Lancaster Tigers didn’t travel nearly as far as the Indians as they faced off with Hutto in their first round game at Midlothian’s All Purpose Stadium and they also took care of business 33-27 and will now face Kilgore in their round two game. 

Corsicana rolled over Manor 53-36 in Waco. Corsicana moves on to play Sulphur Springs next week. 

Finally, West Mesquite lost to Pflugerville Hendrickson 34-20 in Waco and are now eliminated from the playoffs.
