Early registration for Legacy Run ends Sept. 23

WAXAHACHIE - Early registration ends on Friday, Sept. 23 for the Inaugural Legacy Run.

The run, which will take place during homecoming weekend, is slated for Saturday, Oct. 8 and will begin and end at the newly renovated Lumpkins Stadium in Waxahachie.

Early registration for the run ends this Friday, Sept. 23 and is $25 for adults and $10 for students grades K-12. Students four and under are free with the purchase of an adult registration. After Sept. 23, the fee jumps to $30 for adults and the cost to students remains the same at the $10 level; however Legacy Run t-shirts are not guaranteed after the Sept. 23 cut-off date as shirts will be give out on a first come first serve basis if you register late. 

The Waxahachie Education Foundation is still looking for businesses and organization who would like to have a booth and participate in “Race Alley!” Come promote your business with a booth in Race Alley. Booths are $25 and must be reserved by Wednesday, Sept. 28. 

To register for the run, or reserve a booth, visit the run website at www.wisdlegacyrun.org. Participants have the option of registering online or downloading a form and mailing in their registration fee.
