SAGU to host Pee Wee Cheer Camp

WAXAHACHIE - Southwestern Assemblies of God University’s Cheer Team will host their annual Pee Wee Cheer Camp on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m..

The event is open to the public for ages 5-12. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. 

The $25 cost includes a T-shirt, a snack, photo with the SAGU cheerleaders and two tickets to a SAGU football game. 

The Pee Wee Cheer Camp will cover jumps, cheer and dance. 

Campers will learn a cheer to perform during a home football game this fall.

The camp will be held on campus in the Claxton Gym. To reserve a place at the camp, e-mail SAGU Cheer Coach Alicia Rogers at arogers@sagu.edu.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie. 

The university was established in 1927, and now offers more than 60 associate, bachelor’s or master’s degrees on campus or online.
