RED OAK - From the high school level all the way down to the youth baseball leagues it was raining wins!

In high school sports the Hawks and Lady Hawks baseball and softball teams picked up big district wins.

The Lady Hawks hosted Mesquite Poteet on Tuesday, March 29 and the Lady Hawks picked a good night to play one of their best games, especially on defense.

There were so many great plays, it’s impossible to list them here, but in the end, the Lady Hawks were able to generate runs along with that defense and pick up another big district win against a good lady Pirate team 4-0.

The JV girls also picked up another win with some nice pitching and hitting the ball in play.

The Lady Hawks traveled to Waxahachie on Friday April 1st looking for redemption from an earlier home loss to the Lady Indians.

The Lady Hawks took another huge step in climbing back into the play-off hunt by beating the Lady Indians 8-1 in what some may look at as an upset, while many Lady Hawks fans are not surprised considering how well they’ve played of late.
