Lady Indian soccer team advances to playoffs

WAXAHACHIE - The Waxahachie High School Varsity girls soccer team has clinched the District Championship with two wins over Spring Break.

The girls defeated Red Oak Tuesday, March 15 by a score of 5-0 and then followed it up with a 4-1 win Friday over Corsicana. The girls will have a warm up game Tuesday at Rockwall High School vs. Rockwall at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

The first playoff games will be a week from Tuesday in the Area Round. They will get the winner of Dallas Adamson vs. Seagoville.

The girls finish the season undefeated in district at 9-0-1.
