RED OAK - The Hawks and Lady Hawks hosted rival Waxahachie on Friday, Feb. 25 in a key district match up.

The girls had the early game and this turned into a defensive struggle early on and lasted the entire game.

Although the Lady Hawks had higher quality shots on goal, the Lady Indians held them scoreless and the game ended in a 0-0 tie.

The boys game through the first half was not much different until late when the Hawks finally got a break away goal to go up 1-0 at halftime.

The second half however was an offensive show put on by the Hawks.

With behind the back and no look passes, the Hawks quickly scored their second goal on the night and the rout was on.

The Indians had no real attack the rest of the game and the Hawks seemed to score at will. The Hawks went on to win 6-0.
