Hawks jump in the pool

RED OAK - The Hawks and Lady Hawks Swimming Teams dove into the deep end of the pool on Saturday, Jan. 22 in the District 16-4A Swim Meet held at the Duncanville Natatorium.

The Hawks are the defending district champions and went into Saturday’s meet with intentions on winning their second championship.

They competed against local schools Waxahachie and Lancaster as well as other district teams from Forney and Maypearl.

Prior to the meet starting, the Seniors from each High School were introduced.

The meet started at 10:30 a.m. and lasted until mid-afternoon with swimmers competing in several heats during the day.
