DESOTO - The DeSoto High School Varsity Volleyball Team will share the District 11-5A title with North Mesquite for the second year after a phenomenal victory on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

After losing the first two games, the Eagles battled back to win the next three to take the match 3-2.

North Mesquite had previously defeated the Eagles, and while both teams won out the remaining district schedule, this match was for the title.

The playoff brackets are being determined and play will begin the first week in November.

To avoid a playoff game, both coaches agreed to Co-District Champions. North Mesquite will take the first seed in the bracketing and DeSoto will take the second seed.

Congratulations Lady Eagles and good luck in the playoffs!
