Ferris Football Fans: Where are y'all?
The 2010 Fightin’ Ferris Yellow Jackets are a team to make this city proud. Head Coach Randy Barnes and his staff of assistant coaches have put together a scrappy little bunch of players who are a joy to watch.
The players lay it all on the line every game and simply will not quit.
This team has a very good chance to be in the playoffs after the season and if you haven’t seen them play, come to the next game to support your Fightin’ Ferris team.
Good crowd attendance helps the team and school spirits in a very positive way. I believe it makes the team play even better in front of a good crowd.
The Homecoming Game on Friday, Sept. 10 against Wills Point brought out an overflowing crowd and it was a wonderful sight. It would be a tremendous thing for FISD if this size crowd became more the norm rather than on occasion. The fans who attend all or most of the games need to encourage other families and friends to come for the entertainment.
I hope this article and The Ellis County Press paper can help get you out to the games.
Get loud and be proud Jacket fans!
I realize the economic conditions are causing all of us to watch our money closely. An adult ticket at the gate is $6 and age 12 and under is $5 at the gate.
Tickets can be bought from the athletic office during the week of the game at discounted prices.
Adult tickets during the week of the game are $5 and 12 and under are $3 and available at Ferris ISD schools and athletic office. All tickets on game night at the gate are $6.
Look at paying these very competitive prices as an investment rather than an expense.
Investing in our Ferris students is a wonderful thing and these kids will go all out to put on a good show.
Our football team, our cheerleaders, our band, our spirited student body will make you very proud you invested this money and you’ll enjoy a night of a lotta fun. A good time with our family and friends supporting FISD!
Go Yellow Jackets!

maybe you should be glad they DON't show.....
What are you talking about?? You trying to say ferris has the weakest 3 A team? Not sure if you know this but some kids who live in RO are in the Ferris ISD Dist. Some of those are still going to RO anyways, And yes XZY some kids from Wilmer who do not wish to attend Dallas schools are finding ways to get into Ferris ISD even though they still live in wilmer.
