WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Geraldine Reader, 91, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 in the Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 6, 1918 in Colorado Springs, Colo., the daughter of Audrey and Elsie Starbuck Cook, she passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2010.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Shaffer of Glenn Heights and Nancy Stedd of Meridan, Idaho; son Steven Lee Roy Reader of Amarillo; and grandchildren John Churchill, Amy Lyn Churchill, Wesley Stuart Shaffer, David Curtis Shaffer, Jennipher Eileen Burns, Lacretia Louise Davis and Harley Paul Thomas McKay.

Interment followed in Laurel Land in Dallas under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
