RED OAK – Funeral services for Buster Wilson Winder, 83 of Red Oak, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel with Dr. James Hennesy officiating.

Born Aug. 15, 1926 in Austin, the son of Hen-ry F. and Mollie T. Winder, he passed away Thur-sday, Dec. 17, 2009.

Preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and son Henry F. Winder; he is survived by his wife of 63 years Ida; daughter Sammie Kay and husband Frank A. Lee; daughter Kim V. Turner; granddauther Samantha A. and husband John Mitchell Cox; brother John D. and wife Lucille Winder; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Major Hammett, James Harrison, Sam H. Cole, Mark Hanson, Pablo Ramirez and Chris Leuck; honorary pallbearer was Dave Wallace.

Interment followed in the Laurel Land Memorial Park.
