Waxahachie – Funeral services for Mary Wanda Fleming, 69, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 in Waxahachie Funeral Home with Rev. Arlis Moon and Rev. Otis Jackson officiating.

Born Dec. 26, 1940 in Rockdale, the daughter of Author and Ida Wanda Schramm Praesel, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.

Many will remember her working in the bookstore for Wayland Woodall in Waxahachie.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Fleming and brothers Author Gustav "Sonny" Praesel Sr. and Charles Ernest Praesel.

Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery under direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
