Ruth Lynch Simpson

ITALY - Ruth Lynch Simpson was born December 17, 1912 in Italy to Thomas and Flora Lynch. She passed away June 8, 2009 in Bristol at the age of 96. She attended school in Ferris and Bristol and in 1930 was married to Hershel Simpson who preceded her in death in 1990.

She was a long time employee of Farmers and Merchant State Bank in Fer-ris. She was a faithful member of the Ferris Church of Christ and after moving to Bristol in 1975 the Bristol Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son Bill Simpson and his wife Gail of Bristol and three grandchildren, Gary, Sharon and Paul Simpson all of Bristol.

Visitation was held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Green Funeral Home.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at the Bristol Church of Christ, with Brother Ronnie Lowe officiating and burial at Ferris Memorial Park North. Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. To send condolences online visit www.greenfh.com.
