David Marion Rains

WILMER - David Marion Rains, 53 of Wilmer, passed away Tuesday, May 5 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

David was born in Avalon, Calif. on Aug. 14, 1955, the son of the late Joseph Robert and Dorene M-arie Holl-oway Thompson.

He worked as a journeyman electrician at IBW Local 20 he also served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a E1.

He is survived by his mother Dorene Marie Holloway Thomson; two daughters Whitney Maria Rains of Flint, Texas and Sarah Gross of Wilmer; one brother Darrell James Thompson of Baytown, Texas; sister Deborah Thompson of Los Angeles, Calif.; and nephew Dillon Thompson and niece Faith Thompson.

Memorial services were held at a private location on Saturday, May 9.
