FORT WORTH - Memorial services for Charles Lawrence Porter Sr., 92 of Fort Worth, are to be held at a later date.

Born Jan. 13, 1916 in San Antonio, the son of the late Mark William and Eliza Knott Porter, he passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at the Westhaven Nursing Home in Fort Worth. He was a long time Masonic Lodge Member.

He is survived by daughter Patricia Clements of DeSoto; two sons Charles Lawrence Porter Jr. of Marshall and Glenn Ray Porter of Beverly Mass; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren Many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
