William (Bill) Winston Sheen

LANCASTER - William (Bill) Winston Sheen, 65 of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008.
Services will be Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. in Ft. McKavett Cemetery, with Roger Sidener officiating.
William was born in Omaha, Neb. to Winston and Sarah (Sally Terrell) Sheen on May 21, 1943.
"Billy" grew up on the ranch near Ft. McKavett.
A 1962 graduate of Menard High School, he attended Sul Ross University at Alpine before returning to run the ranch and put in a farming operation.
He did all of this while his dad was recuperating from a car accident.
He then returned to San Angelo College where he received his BA in Business.
He worked for a division of Zale’s corporation before going into business for himself as a real estate developer.
Then established a business called Best Excavating and Waste Water System, based in Red Oak, Ellis County, Texas.
William is survived by one brother, Terrell Sheen and wife Cathy of San Angelo; two sisters, Sandra Simmons and husband Arlie of Dallas, and Lynne Sheen of Ft McKavett; four nephews Winston, Austin, and Carson Sheen and Sheen Simmons; one niece Amber (Simmons) Smith and husband Joseph.
