FERRIS - Funeral services for Algie Lee King, 75 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 in Green Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Childers officiating.

Born Dec. 4, 1932 in Sardis, the son of the late Orville Alfred and Kathleen (Billings) King, he passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 in Dallas.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt. First Class in the Korean War.

He is survived by a daughter Linda L. King of Ferris; sister Bobbie Stringer of Lancaster; brother Raymond King of Eustace and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
