RED OAK - Funeral services for Robert Glynn Bell, 58 of Red Oak, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Ferris with Bro. Robert Guinn and Bro. Wes Price officiating.

Born Oct. 13, 1950 in Dallas, the son of "R.C." and Juanita (Renfro) Bell,he passed away on Saturday, Nov 8, 2008 in Dallas.

He received his high school diploma from Kimball High in the Class of 1969 and received his Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from El Centro College in Dallas.

He was employed at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas for more than 15 plus years as a Charge nurse.

On Dec. 16, 2006 he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Tyler.

He was a member of the Jefferson Blvd. Church of Christ in Dallas.

He is survived by his wife Lola Jo Bell of Red Oak; daughter Melanie and husband John Gorrell of Red Oak; son Nathan and wife Linda Bell of Red Oak; his parents "R.C." and Juanita Bell of Dallas; sisters Marnita and husband Martin Sr. Guinn of San Angelo, Laura and husband John Couey of Dallas; and grandchildren J.R. Gorrell, Megan Joann Gorrell, and Adam Bell, all of Red Oak.

Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
