Feb. 26, 1964 - July 21, 2008

RED OAK - There will be a small ceremony for Max Alan Schrank, 44, held on Saturday, Aug. 23. Per his request he will be cremated.

Born Feb. 26, 1964, he passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 after a long battle with COPD brought on by Alpha-1 disease.

When his health permitted, he was a substitute teacher for the Red Oak Independent School District.

He is survived by his loving companion of 12 years Doug West of Red Oak; son Blake of Red Oak; daughter Whitney of Potomac, Md.; mother Helen and Gary Kelley of Sioux City, Iowa; father Rollie of Danbury, Iowa; grandmother Helen of Danbury; and five brothers Sam of Klawock, Ak., Terry of Danbury, Gerry of Danbury, Joe of Lititz, Pa. and Ted of Dallas.
