PALMER - Funeral services for Marvin Donald "Pops" Taylor, of Palmer, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Byrum Funeral Chapel.

Born Aug. 23, 1941 in Honey Grove.

He passed away July 4, 2008.

Preceded in death by father Tom; brother Larry; son Marvin Donald; sister Kathie; he is survived by wife Nancy Taylor; mother Leona Taylor; daughters Donna Taylor, Sloan Taylor and Tessa Johnson; stepdaughters Crystal Kirby, Michelle Jordan, Jessica O’Neil, Amanda Patino and Kellie Robinson; brothers Billy, Johny, Terry and Tommy Taylor; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Byrum Funeral Chapel.
