Fay Marie Stevenson

WAXAHACHIE - Funeral services for Fay Marie Stevenson, 88, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Born Sept. 8, 1919 in Winnsboro, Texas, the daughter of Dessie and Dee Caddell, she passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008.

She married the love of her life George Stevenson on Dec. 22, 1935 in Sulphur Bluff, Texas.

They later moved to Waxahachie where they raised their family.

Preceded in death by her husband William George Stevenson and a son William D. Stevenson; she is survived by her sons Carl Allen Stevenson of California and Michael Frank and wife Teresa Stevenson of Milford; three granddaughters Misty Stevenson of Mertens, Tracy Balch of Itasca and Shelina Stevenson Davis of Midlothian; and great-grandchildren Trecina Stevenson, Tyler Stevenson and Susie Balch.

Interment followed in the Sulphur Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
