WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Sherri "Shorty" Deann Wilson, 23, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 in the Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 26, 1985 in Dallas, the daughter of Cheryl and James Wilson Sr., she passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 after a car accident.

She is survived by her son Jathan A. Wilson; mother Cheryl Wilson of Castro Valley, Calif.; grandparents Max and Dot Chester of Pittsburg, Texas; sister Stephanie M. Conger of Euless; brothers James R. Wilson Jr. of Castro Valley and Joseph P. Brown of Abilene; and boyfriend Brandon Kruse.

Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
