Paula Bess Rushing

FERRIS - Graveside services for Paula Bess Rushing, 63 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Ferris Memorial Park North with Rev. Mary Jean Cope officiating.

Born July 23, 1944 in Dallas, the daughter of the late Paul Goodman and Louise (Myers) Rushing, she passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008 suddenly at her residence.

She was a graduate of Ferris High School and attended North Texas State University in Denton, where she received her Bachelors and Masters degree in English Literature.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ferris.

She is survived by son Paul Bartley Rushing of San Antonio and by Grizzly (her best friend).

Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
