James Paul Barrett

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for James Paul Barrett, 75, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 in the Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 12, 1933 in Midway, the son of Lois and William Barrett, he passed away April 15, 2008.

He married Helen Koll on Aug. 13, 1955 in Houston.

They made Ellis County their home for the last eight years.

Preceded in death by his daughter Mary Elaine Barrett and grandson Aaron Michael Stanley; he is survived by his wife Helen; daughter Lois Jones of McAllen; sons Paul Ray Barrett and wife June of Palmer, John Louis Barrett and wife Barbara of Friendswood and James David Barrett and wife Tammy of West Columbia; sister Lottie Mae Guynes of Houston; grandchildren Amanda and Joseph Medeiros, Savannah Barrett, John Michael Barrett, Louis Massa, Melissa Barrett, Carissa Barrett, Twila Barrett, Jessica Barrett, Jeremy Barrett and three great-grandchildren.

Interment followed in the Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
